Moreover, these training programs are expected to bridge gaps between the different agricultural and rural development ecologies by addressing relevant and urgent needs, with focus on increasing farmers' income; improving food security and nutrition; greater climate resilience of agricultural systems; and empowering farmers, farmer groups, and agricultural stakeholders and their institutions.
