SEARCA Boilerplate
The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) was established in 1966 to strengthen institutional capacities in agricultural and rural development across Southeast Asia. It carries this out through its three-pronged mandate: to provide high-quality graduate education and training in agriculture and related fields; to promote, undertake, and coordinate research; and to disseminate knowledge from agricultural research. SEARCA serves the 11 member countries of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO): Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. SEARCA is hosted by the Philippine government on the campus of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) in Los Baños, Laguna.
