SEARCA, PCC strengthen partnership in Building Capacity for Carabao Development Program

Dr. Serafin Talisayon, Knowledge Management Policy and Planning Specialist cum Team Leader, discussed the project updates during the 60th Project Management Committee (PMC) Meeting at the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) Headquarters in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

MUÑOZ, NUEVA ECIJA, Philippines – The Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) funded project, Building Capacity and Strengthening Partnership for Carabao Development Program, being implemented by SEARCA is now on its fourth quarter of implementation.

Dr. Serafin Talisayon discussing the Technology Scanning Framework.Dr. Talisayon also presented the Technology Scanning Framework, which will be used by PCC Officials and staff in their official travels abroad. The framework will help PCC identify its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and possible threats both in research and development as well as in market aspects. In addition, Dr. Talisayon highlighted the remaining activities of the project such as the workshop on environmental scanning and the presentation of knowledge products during the National Carabao Congress in November 2016.

In attendance during the PMC Meeting were the PCC Executive Committee, headed by Dr. Arnel del Barrio, Acting Executive Director, and the PCC Regional Center Directors. SEARCA was represented by Ms. Nancy Landicho, Program Specialist, and Ms. Sarah Quiñones, Project Associate, both from the Project Development and Technical Services. (Sarah Grace L. Quiñones)
