What is SOLVE?
SOLVE is a key initiative committed to ensuring vital agricultural knowledge and actions directly benefit farmers, farmer groups, and other stakeholders across Southeast Asia. SOLVE achieves this by leveraging technology-mediated platforms like Facebook and Zoom to provide an accessible avenue for sharing concrete, innovative approaches aligned with SEARCA's development agenda. This platform makes it easy for diverse agricultural stakeholders in the region to learn, connect, and ultimately contribute to a more sustainable future.
Objectives of the SOLVE Webinar Series
The primary objective of the SOLVE Webinar Series is to share knowledge on concrete, innovative ARD actions that directly benefit farmers, farmer groups, and other agricultural stakeholders and their institutions using online platforms. Specifically, SOLVE aims to:
- Host seminars featuring practitioners of ARD innovations to share their experiences.
- Encourage participation from farmers to increase awareness of implemented agricultural technologies and innovations.
- Build a community of practitioners (CoPs) focused on ARD innovations in Southeast Asia.
How SOLVE Works
SOLVE features experienced practitioners who are adept at the actual implementation of specific technologies and innovations related to ARD. |
SOLVE sessions are conducted using technology-mediated platforms like Zoom. Sessions are broadcast live and recordings are subsequently posted on SEARCA's various social media platforms. |
Each session runs for 45 minutes to one hour, depending on speaker availability. |
Speakers are requested to prepare 10-13 slides and present for approximately 15 minutes, followed by an open forum. |
Participants are strongly encouraged to ask questions and contact speakers for further discussion. |
