Meta-Analysis of SEARCA's Food Security Initiatives

This meta-analysis research will describe and assess the researches SEARCA has initiated in terms of food security, determine the trends in the past and on-going food security initiatives of SEARCA and analyze the gaps the organization still needs to address. From these, future directions of SEARCA’s food security-related initiatives can be derived.

This study is all the more crucial considering that the Southeast Asian region is currently faced with a confluence of escalating new pressures on food security. In light of these new challenges, SEARCA must assess its past and current food security-related initiatives and identify what initiatives can be replicated, expanded and/or reinforced in the context of  new challenges on food security.

This meta-analysis research will also serve as an important step towards SEARCA’s thrust to make a more meaningful contribution to addressing global food security concerns in the Southeast Asian region.
