The workshop was the kick-start of the five-year Higher Education Improvement Project (HEIP) that the Royal Government of Cambodia is implementing through World Bank (WB) funding. SEARCA is assisting the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), one of the HEIs in Cambodia that has been given the fund by the WB. The HEIP aims to improve the quality and relevance of higher education and research, mainly in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and agriculture at targeted HEIs and improve governance in the higher education sector in Cambodia.
