Meta-analysis of SEARCA's Food Security Initiatives

This monograph highlights the findings of the meta-analysis on SEARCA’s food security-related initiatives from 2000 to 2012. It draws insights from the output of the initiatives; and identifies the gaps in SEARCA’s food security-related research, capacity development, and knowledge management initiatives.

This meta-analysis research would also (1) describe and assess the food security initiatives (i.e., research studies, special projects, capacity development, institutional development, and knowledge management activities) that SEARCA has conducted; (2) determine the trends in these initiatives; and (3) analyze the gaps that the organization still needs to address. From thes, the future directions of SEARCA's food security initiatives can be developed.
