Addressing Gender-Specific Challenges for Equitable Research in Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources in Luzon, Philippines

This publication synthesizes insights from key informant interviews with Filipino agriculture, aquatic, natural resources researchers on the gender-related barriers embedded in research institutions across Luzon. It frames gender equality as a research quality and effectiveness issue, showing how more gender-responsive research systems can generate knowledge, technologies, and policies that are more inclusive, relevant, and impactful for diverse actors in the agriculture sector.
