MANILA -- Registrants for the "2nd International Conference on Agricultural and Rural Development in Southeast Asia (ARD2014)" to be held on Nov. 12-13, 2014 at Makati Shangri-La in Makati City have until Aug. 31 to sign up and avail themselves of special rates.
Organized by the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), ARD2014 will be convened in partnership with various international government and non-government institutions as well as academic and private institutions.
Expected to attend the top-level conference are 400 agriculture and rural development experts from the academe and research institutions, government policymakers, local government executives, farmer-leaders and practicing farmers, private sector practitioners, representatives of civil society organizations and other stakeholders.
