SEARCA seeks nominations for Outstanding Scholarship Alumni award

For the first time, the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) shall give recognition to its outstanding scholarship alumni who have personified SEARCA’s values and philosophy and have distinguished themselves through their personal achievements, professional accomplishments, public service and other meritorious endeavors.

There will be five award categories, namely: Teaching, Research, Public Service/Policy Making, Non-government organization/Advocacy; and Private Sector/Agribusiness Entrepreneurship.

SEARCA, through its Graduate Education and Institutional Development Department is now accepting nominations for The Outstanding SEARCA Scholarship Alumni award. Individuals, organizations and alumni associations are encouraged to nominate outstanding alumni for this prestigious award. Nomination forms and other requirements can be accessed here.

E-copies of nomination forms and supporting documents should be emailed in advance to not later than 15 July 2015 but printed copies must be subsequently delivered by courier to:

The Outstanding SEARCA Scholarship Alumni awardees shall receive a plaque and a cash prize during SEARCA’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Their profile and accomplishments will also be featured in SEARCA’s 50th Anniversary Coffee Table book. Awardees may also be asked to participate in a forum or panel discussion that will be held to mark the anniversary.
