Dr. Serafin Talisayon, KM Policy Planning Specialist and Team Leader, led the facilitation of the programming exercise. Dr. Talisayon presented the observations derived from the Knowledge Management (KM) Audit conducted at the PCC Central Office and selected Regional Centers. The presentation was followed by a workshop where members of the PCC Executive Committee (ExeCom) were divided into small groups. The workshop aimed to validate, modify, and approve the Five-Year Knowledge Management for the Carabao Business Enterprise (KM4CBE) Program for PCC (2016 – 2020), as well as the remaining activities of the project.
The KM4CBE Program is expected to continue past the duration of the project. It aims to produce higher farm incomes, better work performance, and minimize knowledge loss from staff turnover. Moreover, the remaining project activities presented were modified by the SEARCA Project Team (SPT) based on the results of the KM Audit to cater the priority needs of PCC.
The activity concluded with a plenary session where the PCC ExeCom approved the KM4CBE Program and the remaining project activities. Other members of the SEARCA Project Team who also participated in the Programming Exercise include Dr. Maria Celeste H. Cadiz, KM and Capacity Building Specialist; Dr. Lope B. Santos III, OIC and Program Specialist; Ms. Nancy Landicho, Program Specialist, and Ms. Sarah Quiñones, PDTS Project Associate.
