Bogor, Indonesia and Bangkok, Thailand - SEARCA through its Graduate Education and Institutional Development Department (GEIDD) organized a back-to-back orientation for new and continuing scholars based in Institut Pertanian Bogor, Indonesia and Kasetsart University, Thailand.

The orientation was facilitated by Dr. Maria Cristeta N. Cuaresma, Program Head of GEIDD, who discussed important details which will help both new and continuing scholars navigate the next years of their stay in the university. An orientation is regularly held to acquaint students about SEARCA and their responsibilities as scholars of the institution. This is also an avenue for them to meet their fellow scholars and if time permits, interact with SEARCA alumni staying nearby. Nine students attended in IPB, Indonesia on 29 September 2019 and eight students attended in KU, Thailand on 04 October 2019.
