Concepcion served as Dean of the UP College of Law prior to his election as UP President. He succeeded Mr. Alfredo Pascual whose term started in February 2011.
The UP President oversees 17 constituent units and eight campuses, one of which is UP Los Baños (UPLB), SEARCA's host institution.
The UPLB Chancellor Fernando C. Sanchez, Jr. (left) is the Country Representative of the Philippines to the SEARCA Governing Board.
