On the same day, the two DAAD officials oriented the twelve new scholarship holders pursuing their graduate studies at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) on their benefits and responsibilities. Mr. Strowa, together with Dr. Maria Cristeta N. Cuaresma, Program Head for Graduate Education and Institutional Development, handed over the grants to the new scholars. This Handover Ceremony was witnessed by members of the Management Committee of SEARCA and the continuing DAAD scholars.
