Inaugurated on 23 February 2026, the SEARCA Meet the Diplomat Series (MDS) serves as a high-level platform for strengthening the Center's engagement with the diplomatic missions in the Philippines and the broader Southeast Asian region. Through strategic knowledge exchange and networking, the MDS bolsters bilateral and regional relations, deepens understanding of diplomatic priorities related to agriculture, and cultivates partnerships between SEARCA and its international neighbors.
The MDS provides a distinguished venue for meaningful dialogue with ambassadors and diplomatic envoys of foreign embassies. Through this engagement, diplomatic representatives can showcase their country's work in the Philippines; exchange insights on agricultural policy and innovation in their respective countries; and strengthen the confluence between global diplomacy and agricultural development.
