2011 SEARCA Agriculture and Development Seminar Series (ADSS)

The SEARCA Agriculture and Development Seminar Series (ADSS) encourages presentation and discussion of development and research issues, as well as their implications for agricultural and rural development. Presentations may feature new concepts, frameworks, or perspectives; methodologies; research findings; policy issues and proposed solutions; or any combination of these, on topics emphasized by the SEARCA's current five-year plan. Through the ADSS, SEARCA aims to contribute to a vibrant scientific exchange within, and even beyond, the Los Baños Science Community.

The ADSS and its special seminars are open to the public and are scheduled as much as possible on a Tuesday, 4–5 p.m.

Speakers at SEARCA's ADSS have included scholars, researchers and thought leaders occupying influential positions in the Philippine executive and legislative branches and other government agencies, UN agencies, other international development organizations, nongovernmental organizations, and academe.
