The workshop will review basics on impact assessment and data interpretation, and then allow participants to apply impact assessment literacy to evaluating options in biofuel development. It will also provide the framework for building awareness and understanding and orientation on the emerging biofuel industry, on the technologies to be developed and managed, on the policy and regulatory issues, and on socioeconomic development challenges (as prior needs assessment will require). Target participants are media practitioners from the different regions in the Philippines (maximum of 20-25).
