Rationalizing and Harmonizing Plant Biotechnology Regulations in Southeast Asia: A Learning Forum

Course Description:

This learning forum is designed to arm decision-makers and regulators in plant biotechnology with a science-based approach in rationalizing and harmonizing plant biotechnology regulations in Southeast Asia. It aims to provide an avenue for exchange of experiences and status of plant biotechnology in the region, as well as draw up recommendations at the regional level and action plans at the national or domestic level towards a rational and harmonized regulatory framework for plant biotechnology research and development in Southeast Asia.

At the end of the forum, participants are expected to prepare country specific action plans on plant biotechnology regulations.
