Sponsored by the Korea FAO Association, this study tour program is designed for policymakers and decision-makers in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Timor-Leste to enhance their conceptual and practical knowledge in planning, crafting, and implementing biosafety rules and regulations in accordance with the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. It also envisions to provide the participants meaningful learning opportunities and gain practical knowledge in firming up biosafety framework and regulations in Korea, which they may apply in their own country's context upon their return to their home countries after the study tour program.
