JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical and logistical support for the implementation of the Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) Mentorship Program (Communicating Agriculture and Fisheries Research for Inclusive and Sustainable Development)
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Project Assistant will provide technical backstopping to the Project Team Leader in the performance of her duties, particularly in:
Conduct of the capacity scoping and needs analysis of the accepted participants
Develop the detailed modules of the mentorship program
Monitor and assess the outputs of the participants per module
Conduct pre and post mentorship program assessment
2. Assist the resource persons during the implementation of the online mentoring and face-to-face sessions
3. Assist in the preparation of the necessary reports; and
4. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Project Leader.
A graduate of a 4-year degree course in Development Communication, or related fields.
With two (2) years relevant work experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
Basic skills and knowledge
Above average organizational, monitoring, and coordination skills and ability to focus on multiple tasks at the same time;
Able to work effectively individually and with a team and under a multi-cultural environment;
Good writing and information processing skills; and
Good working knowledge of computer software applications (word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, database, search engines).
