Direct and oversee all activities related to the development and production of SEARCA's Knowledge Resources, specifically the packaging and distribution of SEARCA's publications as well as the maintenance of SEARCA's website and other web-based learning and knowledge resources such as the library and information portals.
Master’s Degree in Development Communications, Mass Communications, or related fields.
Eight years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar post, in a managerial capacity.
Technical/academic publications writing, editing (content/style), production and marketing; Knowledge management, content management, library and archives management, and digital marketing in the agriculture and rural development context.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and client orientation skills.
Excellent leadership, management, monitoring, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Highly proficient in project proposal development, presentation, and marketing.
Highly skilled in establishing and maintaining networks/ partnerships with foreign and local institutions.
Proficient in media communication and design
Proficient in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) development and applications.
Proficient in products/service marketing and establishing networks /linkages.
