JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical and logistical support for the implementation of the International Fund for Agricultural Development funded project “Rural Regional Transformation: Pathways, Policy Sequencing and Development Outcomes in China, the Philippines, and Vietnam”.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Assist in primary and secondary data collection in selected sites in the Philippines
Assist in data encoding, processing, and analysis
Assist in report writing
Assist in coordinating various activities of the project
Assist in the logistical requirements of the project
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Project Leader or the Program Head of SEARCA Research and Development Department
Graduate of a 4-year degree course preferably in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other related fields with background on agricultural economics; with two (2) year work-related experience as project or research assistant.
With two (2) years relevant work experience in project coordination, preferably in a similar post.
Basic skills and knowledge
Above average organizational, monitoring, and coordination skills and ability to focus on multiple tasks at the same time
Able to work effectively individually and with a team and under a multi-cultural environment
Good writing and information processing skills;
Good working knowledge of computer software applications (word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, database, search engines).
Knowledgeable on Stata and R
