GUIDELINES
- The photo contest is open to all Southeast Asian nationals except SEARCA employees and their immediate family members.
- The photo should depict the theme “Science and Education for Agriculture and Development.”
- Entries must be in 8” x 10”, full color prints (digital or conventional camera).
Digital entries should be in JPEG format and at least 1600 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 1600 pixels tall for a vertical image, but no larger than 4 MB (4,000 KB).
If submitting a print from a digital file, make sure to submit an e-copy. The print should match the quality and character of the original file.
If submitting a print using conventional camera, make sure to submit the negatives and indicate settings used (aperture opening and shutter speed).
- Images must not have been digitally altered/enhanced in any way other than simple cropping.
- Interested individuals can send as many entries as he/she wants. Each entry should include the following details: name, signature (scanned) and e-mail address, a brief statement/ description of the photo, where the photo was taken, when it was taken and the equipment used in taking it. Make sure that there are no markings (names, logo or any writing) on photo entries.
- All entries shall become the property of SEARCA. Hence, SEARCA reserves the right to reproduce, exhibit, publish, or use any entry for promotional or publication purposes without remuneration of any kind to the owner of the photograph.
